A SOLUTION DISCUSSION BETWEEN TURKISH TELECOM AND SENTEZTEK

On the last days Turkish Telecom has started to call the subscriber one by one and offered regarding invoices with environmentalist approach. They have called us finally as well.

TurkishTelecom- Sir, I am calling from Turkish telecom. My name is....... We, as Turkish Telecom that has high level Environmental knowledge and responsibility, have launched an new application. Would you like us to send invoices as electronically from now? If you approve our offer, you will receive invoice as an e-mail. With this way many trees will be not cut and we will save them. Do you approve our offer?

Senteztek- Thank you very much your kind offer. It is very good but there is a small detail i want to ask. We give invoices to accounting department. How will we use e-invoice during official accounting process?

TurkishTelecom- You can get print out from writer, Sir.

It means; If Turkish Telecom sends invoice by post, the trees are cut. But, Subscriber gets print out from own writer, the trees are not cut. Very interesting innovation! - 25.05.2009

"SMALL BUSINESS ACT" for EUROPE

Adopted in June 2008, the "Small Business Act" for Europe (SBA) reflects the Commission’s political will to recognize the central role of SMEs in the EU economy and for the first time puts into place a comprehensive SME policy framework for the EU and its Member States.
It aims to improve the overall approach to entrepreneurship, to irreversibly anchor the “Think Small first” principle in policy making from regulation to public service, and to promote SMEs’ growth by helping them tackle the remaining problems which hamper their development.
The Small Business Act for Europe applies to all companies which are independent and have fewer than 250 employees: 99% of all European businesses.
